Visiting Melaka, UNESCO World Heritage Site

That was 4D3N trip to Malaysia

We didn’t plan to Melaka before since our main destination is watching Motogp and visiting some places in Kuala Lumpur. But when I did some searching about Melaka, I thought it was a good place for Heritage Walks. We arrived to KLIA2 in 11.30 and you know what, there is no public transportation until 4.30, so we decided to have some late dinner in KFC. Unfortunately, bus to Melaka is 9.30, so it was better to depart to Terminal Berpadu Selatan (TBS) that waiting 4 hours. Ah ya, when we were waiting we played the game I forgot the name but it so killing time.

From KLIA2 to TBS cost 9MYR using JetBus. The bus departed on time and was so comfortable. We arrived to TBS at 5.30 and I was amazed how clean and cozy this bus terminal. In my opinion, it is better than Adisutjipto Airport. TBS to Melaka takes 2.5 hours by bus and cost 10MYR.

Touch down Melaka!!

Melaka is not big as Kuala Lumpur, but it is still better than some big cities I’ve even been in Indonesia. The main problem is the city is so hot. The first place we visited is Red Building. There are some gorgeous spot for taking photos. Here there are

The next place we went to is Masjid Selat Melaka. It took 45 minutes on foot and about 4 kilometers from Red Building. I could sholat Jumat in one of the most beautiful Masjid in Malaysia and you know what, it is located near beach.

Fortunately we met malaysian that were kind hearted, the name is Shida nad Roslan. They gave lift to as, so no need to walking again for going to another destination. I met some Malaysian, and they are so warm and helpful to Indonesian. Before I went to Malaysia, I thought Malaysian has problem with Indonesian but It was wrong. Thank you kak Shida, kak Roslan, bang Irwan and a man in Sepang for your helping. I read an article about the differences between Tourist and Traveler. Traveler is people who travel to another places and can mingle with local people, while tourist is just visiting. So we are eligible to be said as Traveler, right?
